How do I cancel a recording?

Bubbly v2.3 comes with a new and improved recording interface so you can create voice posts quickly and easily.
iOS devices
From within Bubbly, tap on the microphone icon and start recording. If you want to cancel the recording, just tap on the microphone icon again.
Android devices
From within Bubbly, tap on the microphone icon and start recording. If you change your mind, simply tap on the "Back" key of your device.

Why can't I make a text post on Bubbly?

Bubbly is a voice social network and the majority of our users create audio posts. From version 2.3 onwards, we have revamped the recording interface to focus on helping you create voice posts with ease.
You can still comment on other posts using text or voice.

Can I save Bubbly posts to Evernote?
-
Yes, you can automatically save Bubbly voice posts to your Evernote Notebooks.
iOS devices
- From the Bubbly app, tap on the user profile icon and then the "Settings" icon.
- Tap on "Evernote" followed by “Connect” to sign in with your username and password.
- Once you are logged in, Bubbly posts will be saved automatically to your Evernote Notebooks.
- Posts you created are saved to "Bubbly – My Posts"
- Posts you like are saved to "Bubbly – Liked Posts"
Android devices
- From the Bubbly app, connect to Evernote by pressing the "Menu" key, then tapping on "Settings" and "Evernote".
- Sign in to Evernote with your username and password.
- Once you are logged in, Bubbly posts will be saved automatically to your Evernote Notebooks.
- Posts you created are saved to "Bubbly – My Posts"
- Posts you like are saved to "Bubbly – Liked Posts"

How do I reset my password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new one if you have an email address registered with Bubbly.
iOS devices
- On the log in screen, tap on "Use Email to signup or login" followed by "What's my password?"
- Enter your email address and tap on "Send" for your new password to be sent to you.
- If you are logged into Bubbly but have forgotten your password, tap on the user profile icon, followed by the "Settings" icon and "Change Password". An email with instructions to reset your password will be sent to you.
Android devices
- On the log in screen, tap on "Use Email to signup or login" followed by "What’s my password?"
- Enter your email address and tap on "Send" for your new password to be sent to you.
- If you are logged into Bubbly but have forgotten your password, press the "Menu" key and then tap on "Settings" and "Password". An email with instructions to reset your password will be sent to you.

How do I adjust my push notification settings?

iOS devices
- Exit the Bubbly app and tap on "Settings".
- Scroll down the "Settings" list and tap on "Bubbly" followed by "Push Notifications".
- On this screen, you can check or uncheck the notifications you want to receive.
- Once this is completed, press the "Home" button to exit.
Android devices
- From the Bubbly app, press the "Menu" key then tap on "Settings" and "Push Notifications".
- On this screen, you can check or uncheck the notifications you want to receive.
- Once this is completed, press the "Back" key to save the changes.

Can I sign up for Bubbly using my Facebook or Twitter account?

Yes. From Bubbly 2.0 onwards, you can easily sign up for Bubbly using your Facebook or Twitter account.

What are voice filters and how do they work?

The 12 voice filters let apply multiple effects to make your audio post sound cool when you create a new post.
You can make your voice sound amazing with filters like "Noise Reducer", "Boost it" and "Open Mic" or apply fun filters such as
"Helium", "Echo Chamber" and "Sci Fi".

How do I enable Facebook Timeline sharing?

Facebook Timeline integration lets you easily share your Listen, Record, Create and Like actions from the Bubbly app.
iOS
Go to "Settings" on your device and tap on "Facebook". You will be prompted to log in to Facebook and Timeline sharing will be enabled.
Android
From within Bubbly, press the "Menu" key and tap on "Settings".
Tap on "Facebook" followed by "Connect to Facebook". You will be prompted to log in to Facebook and Timeline sharing will be enabled.

How can I login to my existing Bubbly account using email?

On the Bubbly login screen, tap on the "Use Email to signup or login" link. Here you can login to your Bubbly account using email.
New users can also signup using your email from this screen.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your Bubbly account, please email your request to support@bubbly.net. Remember to include the following information:-
- Username
- Email Address
- Reason to delete account
Once we've received your request, our support team will process it as soon as we can.

How do I delete a post?

From Bubbly v1.3 onwards, you can delete your own posts and comments.
iOS devices
Just swipe on the post or comment you want to delete. The delete icon will appear and you can tap on it to delete the post or comment.
Android devices
Simply tap and hold on the post or comment you want to delete. A menu will pop up and you can proceed with the deletion.

Is the Bubbly app free?

Yes. Bubbly can be download from the App Store and Google Play. You can follow other Bubbly users, post and comment for free.
Additionally, you will receive a free 30-day premium subscription to follow premium celebrities.
After the free trial, you can choose to subscribe at $2.99 for a 6-month or continue using the social features of Bubbly for free.

Why can't I listen to posts from a celebrity?

If you cannot click on the celebrity post and see a lock icon instead, your free 30 day trial has probably ended.

Tap on the Settings icon and then "Unlimited Premium Access" to make a purchase.
Android devices

How do I connect to Twitter?

Click on the Discover tab, select "Find Friends" followed by "Find Twitter Friends".
Android devices
Click on the Menu button, select "Find Friends" followed by "Find friends on Twitter".

How do I update my profile picture?

Tap on the Settings icon, select "Edit Profile" followed by "Profile Picture".

What is the recording duration?
- Bubbly supports a maximum recording duration of 90 seconds.

- Can I save my posts?

Unfortunately, your voice posts cannot be saved on the device. However, all voice posts are available for play back whenever you login to Bubbly.

Can I preview my post before posting?

Yes you can. After you record a post, you can tap on the orange Play button to preview your post before posting.

- How can I disable notifications?

iOS devices
Go to "Settings" on your device, scroll down and tap Bubbly. Here you will be able to switch "Push Notifications" on or off.
Android devices
From within the Bubbly app, press the Menu key and tap on Settings. Tap on "Push Notifications" and you can selectively choose which notification to turn on or off.

How do I change my username?

Once you've created your username you cannot change it.You can, however, change your display name.
iOS devices
Tap on the Settings icon, select "Edit Profile" followed by "Full Name" to update your display name.
Android devices
Tap on the Menu button, select "Edit Profile" followed by "Full Name" to update your display name.

- While installing Bubbly from Google Play, I get the error message, "Your device isn't compatible with this version."

Currently, we only support Android devices that support medium and high density resolutions. We do not support devices with lower resolution.
